Build a Website Migration Tool on One API

What you get

What a website migration tool needs from the API

  • Elementor templates

Each section as a .json template you import under Templates in WordPress.

  • Shopify sections

Each section as a .liquid theme section, added from the theme editor like any other.

  • Every section of the page

The first call lists the page's sections with ready selectors, in page order.

  • Images, fonts and icons

The asset files the old site uses, so nothing is lost when it goes offline.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I build a website migration tool?

Call /v1/code with the old page's URL and framework=elementor or shopify. The first call returns the hero as an importable file and lists the page's other sections with selectors; call it once per section, collect the images and fonts with /v1/images and /v1/fonts, and import the files on the new platform. Wrap that in your own interface or script and you have a migration tool.

Can I sell it as my own website migration service?

Yes, on any paid plan: Developer, Growth, Scale or Custom. You build on the API and sell the result under your own brand, with no mention of MiroMiro. The free plan is for trying it and building your tool; client work needs a paid plan.

Which platforms can it migrate from?

Any public website: Wix, Webflow, Squarespace, Framer, an old WordPress theme or a custom build. It reads the page the way a browser shows it, so the source platform does not matter. Pages behind a login cannot be read.

Is it a full website migration?

It moves the design: each section of a page as a file you import, plus its assets. It does not move blog posts, products or form submissions from the old database, and it works one page at a time. In the files, each section is one styled block you edit as code, not a set of native widgets.

What does a migration cost?

10 credits per section, so a page with six sections is 60 credits, and failed or cached calls are free. The free plan's 300 monthly credits cover about five pages; the Developer plan's 5,000 credits cover around 500 sections a month.
