API & MCP
Last updated: July 22, 2026
These terms govern your use of the MiroMiro design-extraction API and the MiroMiro MCP server (together, the "API"), including access through an AI client such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor. By creating an API key or connecting an account, you agree to these terms. Our browser extension and website are covered by separate terms.
The API fetches a website URL you provide and returns design information extracted from its publicly available content - colors, fonts, spacing, design tokens, brand identity, component code, images, SVGs, and Lottie files. It reads static HTML and CSS and does not execute a target site's JavaScript.
You agree that you will not use the API to:
You are solely responsible for the URLs you submit and for how you use the results. The API is a tool; the decision of what to extract and what to do with the output is yours.
Extraction results are derived from content published by third parties. We do not own that content and we grant you no rights in it. You are responsible for determining whether and how you may use extracted colors, code, fonts, images, or other assets, including any trademark, copyright, or licensing obligations that apply to the source. Extracted output is provided as-is for your own evaluation and use.
You are responsible for keeping your API key secret and for all activity under your key or connected account. When you connect the MCP server to an AI client via OAuth, you authorize that client to make API calls on your behalf using your credits; you can disconnect at any time. Notify us promptly if you believe a key or connection has been compromised.
Usage is metered in credits. Free accounts include a monthly credit allowance at no cost and no card required; paid plans provide higher allowances and rate limits. Each successful call spends the credits listed for that endpoint; cached results and failed calls are not billed. Requests are also subject to short-window rate limits. Prices, credit costs, and limits may change; changes to paid plans will be communicated in advance where required.
We may rate-limit, suspend, or revoke a key or account that violates these terms, abuses the service, threatens its stability or security, or fails to pay. You may stop using the API and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as third-party content, disclaimers, and liability) will continue to apply.
The API is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that extraction will be complete or accurate for every site - some pages render content with JavaScript we do not execute, and some origins block automated access - or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MiroMiro will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the API. Our total liability for any claim relating to the API will not exceed the amount you paid us for the API in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
We may update these terms as the API evolves. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and your continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
